Born in a Gujarati family, she is known as Khyati Patel. She was brought up in Surat and is presently residing at Ahmedabad. Being a professional pilot, she stumbled on pyrography a couple of years back. "Pyrography" - the art of burning a surface and giving it an artistic look. It is commonly done on wood, paper, leather canvas, etc. She's a self taught artist, with preferred medium of work being wood and paper. She loves to experiment a lot with her work and thereby develop her skills further. Her mantra is “Learning never stops" and she stands by that. She had varied interest like crochet, baking etc but her passion for pyrography is unlimited. Her passion for art can be seen in her works. She also won second position in an art competition, “Mukhote online contest", organized by Mukhote creative Art Foundation. And hoping to win many more in future.
